Automatic Water Shut-Off - For use with electron microscopes, vacuum evaporators and other equipment requiring water cooling. Maintains water flow to diffusion pumps of electron microscopes, vacuum evaporators, etc., for specified time after instrument has been turned off. The shut-off is activated by a mechanical timer which has certain advantages of reliability over electrical controls. Easily installed between water pressure control and electron microscope or other vacuum equipment. Accepts 1/2" copper  tubing, but can readily be adapted to all standard plumbing. To operate, set timer at desired interval up to 120 minutes and close the by-pass valve. This improved unit with hermetically sealed timer and rust-proof metal components may also be used in your photographic dark room to control washing time of prints. Unit comes completely assembled, ready to operate.
