Electroformed Gold or Platinum Coated Aperture Strips
Aperture strips with hole dimensions of less than 10 microns are extremely difficult to produce by conventional
mechanical methods. By using lithography techniques, holes as small as 5 microns are possible. Such strips are made of copper and can be coated with a thin layer of gold or platinum. |
