The L595 BiPod Polisher is a specimen preparation tool for preparing SEM and TEM cross sections. It is used in the same fashion as the Model L590 Tripod Polisher and can be adapted to semi-automatic polishing techniques.

Description
The BiPod polisher is a variation of the well known L590 Tripod Polisher. It is designed with flats on all sides which make it more suitable for viewing under a standard upright stereo microscope and also simplifies adapting the polisher for semiautomatic SEM cross sectioning. The BiPod Polisher is used in the same way as the Tripod Polisher with the exception of it having only 2 feet and those feet being controlled by precision machined screws instead of micrometers. It can also be mounted easily onto either the Model L910 or Model L920 Lapping and Polishing machine with the appropriate yoke for semiautomatic polishing. The BiPod Polisher uses the same sample mounts as the Tripod Polisher and the polishing procedure is essentially the same. The BiPod Polisher is capable of being used for both SEM cross sectioning and TEM wedge polishing.

L59002	Wedge Polishing Mount - Designed specifically for wedge polishing of TEM specimens. the mount consists of a small aluminum clamping mechanism and 5 Pyrex rods which slide into the center of the clamp and are held in place when the L-bracket is tightened.	$150.00
